Our story begins with a childhood encounter with coffee cherries in the plantations of Kaziranga, Assam. What started as curiosity gradually grew into an appreciation for coffee, shaped by years of travel, experiences, and conversations.

Founded in Jorhat, a town synonymous with Assam's tea heritage, Botanic Assam is an endeavour to introduce a lesser-known side of our state's agricultural landscape - Coffee

Nestled in the scenic Barail Range of Dima Hasao, our coffee plantations are part of a landscape where coffee has quietly found its place. We believe good coffee deserves an identity rooted in its origin, the people who grow it, and the land it comes from.

We believe that great coffee is not defined by its origin alone, but also by the attention given to its processing, roasting, and preparation. Our approach is to bring these elements together thoughtfully, allowing people to discover and appreciate coffee from a lesser-known growing region.

Our coffee is rooted in a landscape of lush greenery, rich biodiversity, and a climate that gives Assam its distinct terroir. Cultivated with care and shaped by the efforts of our growers, every harvest reflects the dedication of the people behind it.

We are not trying to recreate the coffee of another region. We want Assam's coffee to be recognized for its own identity.
